According to Shazir Mucklai, founder and chief executive officer of Imperium AI, biotechnology company Dyadic International (NASDAQ: DYAI) may hold significant potential that currently outpaces its public visibility.

During a recent commentary session on the firm, Mucklai pointed out that matching Dyadic’s core technical capabilities with proactive digital communications and social media strategies could fundamentally change how the public and investors view the organization.

“Dyadic has technology that can be difficult for the average person to understand, but that does not mean the story is not exciting,” Mucklai noted, adding that blending biotech innovation with compelling content and narratives could spark a fresh wave of interest.

Dyadic’s proprietary microbial protein-production platform is designed for application across multiple prominent industries, including vaccines, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial biotechnology, and alternative proteins. Mucklai highlighted that a major opportunity rests in making these complex milestones digestible for non-scientific audiences.

“A partnership should not just be a press release,” Mucklai stated. “A scientific milestone can become a video, a conversation, a social-media moment, and something people actually understand and want to follow.”

As head of Imperium AI—a platform created to help organizations and creators enhance visibility and secure media coverage—Mucklai has noted how fast digital engagement can reshape perceptions. However, he emphasized that visibility alone does not dictate commercial success.

“The technology still has to work commercially. Management still has to execute, close partnerships, build licensing relationships, and produce results,” Mucklai explained. “Social media does not replace fundamentals. What it can do is make sure people actually know the story.”

This nuance is vital when evaluating Dyadic. Unlike mature pharmaceutical companies with predictable earnings, Dyadic operates as a speculative biotech firm whose future valuation depends heavily on intellectual property, licensing agreements, commercialization progress, and broader adoption.

While this risk profile is substantial, Mucklai argued it creates a corresponding opening for potential upside if awareness catches up with execution.

“If the commercial side starts coming together and you combine that with a powerful social-media strategy, you could have a completely different company from a public-awareness standpoint,” he said.

Traditionally, biotechnology companies have struggled to build the enthusiastic communities seen around consumer technology or entertainment brands, but Mucklai believes this can evolve. “Science should be exciting,” he remarked. “If Dyadic is working on technology that could help change how important biologic products are manufactured, people should understand why that matters.”

Mucklai concluded that the intersection of underlying science, commercial execution, and public awareness forms the core thesis for the company. “I believe Dyadic could be undervalued if the technology ultimately achieves meaningful commercial adoption,” he stated, while reiterating that execution and risk remain major factors.
